Nilanthi Dias, born on November 10, 1979, is a highly talented actress and dancer hailing from Battaramulla, Sri Lanka. Growing up, she immersed herself in studying traditional dance and showcased her skills in various competitions at All Saints Convent in Borella. Her passion for dance led her to join the renowned Gypsies Music Band, with whom she embarked on a world tour, delighting audiences across different countries.

In the year 2000, Nilanthi began her acting journey, marking the start of a successful career in both films and teledramas. Working with esteemed directors such as Bertrum Nihal and Dayarathna Ratagedara, she left her mark on the screen with remarkable performances.

Aside from her acting prowess, Nilanthi is an exceptional dancer and has been recognized with awards for her exceptional talent. She earned the Runner Up title in the prestigious Sirasa Dancing Stars competition and was honored with the Talent Award at the Sarsaviya Film Awards in 2006 for her role in “One Shot One.”
